More day trips

The Vršatec limestone cliffs and castle ruin just across the Slovak border, the folk town of Valašské Klobouky, Vsetín — and Pustevny with Mount Radhošť for a full-day outing.

Just across the Slovak border rise the Vršatec cliffs — dramatic limestone crags crowned by a medieval castle ruin, with one of the finest views far and wide. It's a quarter of an hour by car.

For sightseeing, try Valašské Klobouky with its folk architecture, the museum and château in Vsetín, or the spa town of Luhačovice with its colonnade and mineral springs. For a full day out, head to Pustevny with Dušan Jurkovič's timber buildings and the climb to legendary Mount Radhošť.
